Simple Leaf Rubbing Craft

Thanks to Lorna for sending in this idea!

I just did a card with my daughter to send to her pray pen pal & thought I'd share the idea.  We had a few extra leaves from our Thanksgiving crafts.  We did simple leaf rubbings

Place plain white paper over the underside of a leaf.

Rub the side, rather than point, a crayon over the paper and you get a nice outline of the leaf and its parts.

We used autumnal colours for our leaf rubbings (brown, orange, yellow, red, green)

After we were done with the rubbings we created a card which read "Fall into the presence of the Lord!"

This saying could also be added to any of DLTK's Autumn crafts to use them at Sunday School
