LOVED BY THE MASTER

And John was clothed with camels hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey; And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

Mark 1: 6,7
King James Version

This is difficult for me to write because of the tears of joy and gratitude on my face, and in my heart.  This verse says that we are not worthy to even stoop down and unloose the latchet of His shoes.  There are no words to describe the love I have in my heart for Jesus.

When I think of how He suffered and died for me for all the stupid and terrible things I did in the past, my heart is overwhelmed with love for Him.  Nobody else could have done that for me; nobody else would have wanted to do that for me.  I am not worthy to even stoop down to untie His shoes, and yet, He Loves me.  What a Friend!  What a Joy to be loved by the Master!

Do you know this Friend of mine?  Have you experienced the Joy, Happiness, Peace, and Forgiveness that He gives?  Has it penetrated your heart that we are not worthy to even stoop down to untie His shoes?  How can we keep breaking His Heart day after day by the way we treat our family, friends, and loved ones?

Jesus Loves us so much, and yet we continue to hurt Him.  May God forgive us!  Please love my Friend, Jesus.  He deserves to be happy.  Please stop breaking His Heart.
