Sunday School Teacher's Prayer

Dear Lord, as I begin to teach
Another class today,
I pray for guidance from above
To say what I should say.
May all my words and attitudes
Reflect your love and care.
May I a good example be:
Help me my faith to share.
I pray to live as I should live,
And in your pathways walk.
And one more thing, if you don't mind,
Please help me find the chalk.
